X-Ray Inspection Solutions
Highly engineered X-Ray inspection equipment for quality assurance, contaminant detection and product safety.
Anritsu X-Ray Inspection Systems give food and pharmaceutical producers the best combination of contaminant detection, reliability, and low total cost of ownership. Anritsu has the advanced technology you can trust to protect your customers from even the smallest contaminants.
With outstanding accuracy and precision, our X-Ray machines can detect metal, stone, bone, glass, and more, using our advanced HD and UltraHD technology. Beyond detection, Anritsu X-Ray Inspection provides missing product, shape detection, virtual weight, count, and package check.
Anritsu UltraHD Technology is known for its ability to detect contaminants of only 0.2 mm diameter, including ferrous, non-ferrous, and stainless contaminants.
Anritsu HD Systems can detect metal contaminants as small as 0.4mm, and glass and stones at 1.0mm to 2.0 mm.
- Quality Control Inspection
- Designed for Ease-Of-Use
- Safety in Design
- Global Support & Local Support
The XR75 Advanced Long Life Technology provides heightened sensitivity at reduced energy levels. Because of this, cost of ownership is significantly lowered and life cycles are extended.
Additionally, the XR75 incorporates new advanced long-life technology for critical system components. Long life, low-power components have been implemented, as well as an x-ray tube/generator and detector. This low-output generator reduces heat generation, eliminating the need for a cooling system and resulting in a 30 percent reduction in power consumption. Overall, the XR75 x-ray inspection system can reduce lifetime operating costs by more than 20 percent, making food inspection more affordable.
The Anritsu x-ray system includes virtually every algorithm you may need to inspect your product. In addition, features such as variable speed conveyors, variable power x-ray source, HACCP support, Ethernet connection and many other features provide the user with a long-term, flexible solution for any new applications that may require x-ray inspection.
Ease of Use Increases Efficiencies
Anritsu installations are successful because they are designed to be easy-to-use and easy-to-understand. Rather than requiring complete knowledge of the technology, graphs and color-coded algorithm feedback provides operators with the information required to create new products and adjust existing settings with ease, eliminating the need for factory support.
Ease of Maintenance
Reliability in the design minimizes the need for maintenance, but when required, a full suite of system diagnostics, plug and play boards and easy release conveyor design offers quick maintenance and minimizes any downtime.
DualX+ X-Ray System
The new XR75 DualX+ is equipped with a new High Resolution Dual Energy Sensor for enhanced detection performance such as minute bones and metals
New Dual Energy Sensor breaks through the limits of conventional detection performance
The standard dual energy model could not fully utilize its superiority of the dual energy inspection when it comes to thicker products or products with highly uneven surfaces. By introducing a new dual energy sensor, we have succeeded in making X-Ray transmission images significantly sharper. It is now possible to clearly display the shadows of contaminants on these targets. In addition, the dedicated detection algorithms have improved the sensitivity to detect fine metals and small bones, which had been hard to detect.
- High-resolution imaging enables improved detection sensitivity for fine bones and metals.
- Outstanding detection performance even for thick products with irregular surface thanks to the new Dual Energy Sensor and the dedicated detection algorithms.
- The new dual energy sensor greatly extends the life of the sensor. Since the deterioration of the element is very small, it contributes to the reduction of TCO.
The DualX+ takes QC and HACCP programs well beyond just metal detection by targeting the elimination of other dangerous foreign material in a high-speed production environment.
IP69K & Sanitary Design
Built on Anritsu’s popular XR75 platform, the new IP69k Sanitary x-ray offers the XR75’s reliability, ease of use, and low cost of ownership in a rugged, compact footprint. It is ideal for facilities using intensive washdown procedures to meet strict sanitation standards.
With IP69K protection, including washdown protection features like gasketed joints, robust HMI screen guard, and a heavy duty stacklight cage, the equipment allows for easy cleaning with high-pressure jets, which blast away debris and dirt, while the high temperature sanitizes the equipment. The robust, open design promotes thorough drainage and allows accessible high-pressure cleaning.
What is IP69K?
IP69K requires equipment is completely dustproof and can withstand washdown at pressures of 80 to 100 bar (1,160 to 1,450 PSI), with rates of 14 to 16 l/min, and at temperatures up to 176°F/80°C in certain conditions.
Sanitary design features
Ideal for facilities using intensive washdown procedures to meet strict sanitation standards. This model was engineered to meet the strictest requirements of meat & poultry and other demanding industries. Its sanitary features include the following:
- Open access for cleaning to a microbiological level
- Smooth, sloped surfaces that resist liquid pooling and promote drainage
- Minimized harborage areas (niches, gaps)
- No hollow tubing or members
- Mirror polish detection (food contact) area
